Layla is one of my prettiest does in my herd. She is easy to milk and productive. She easily earns her milk star in her first lactation and her production is increasing. It is hard to part with a daughter out of this pairing. Her sister is staying and I would not be unhappy if this girl stays too.

Crystal gave us FOUR daughters this year and she milked half a gallon a day on her first milk test of the year! Crystal will easily earn her milk star this year. This little sweetie has been bottled raised and is super friendly. Although we really don’t need to keep 4 daughters from one doe I would love for all of them to stay. They are lovely!

**We have wethers available from May 2025 and spring 2026. Please contact us if you are interested in a wether. Wethers are $150 each, two for $250 or three for $350. Wether companions for a doeling are $100. Pictures can be provided by request.

Our General Husbandry Practices:

Every animal born on our farm with horns will be disbudded in their first week of life. Wethers will be banded before they leave. We dam raise but occasionally we have a bottle baby available and they will be listed as such. We provide frozen goat milk to feed bottle babies until they can be weaned on request. All animals will be up to date on selenium supplements before they leave. All animals receive a vaccine for Clostridium Perfringens Types C & D (Overeating Disease)/ Tetanus Toxoid (Lock Jaw).

Please see our education and resources page if you have questions about raising goats. We encourage you to establish a relationship with a livestock vet as soon as you bring your animal home, if you do not already have one. It should be noted that we are breeding for milk production on our farm. We have selectively bred our goats to produce more milk than their offspring need. If you are looking to breed animals from our farm for pets you should be aware that they are dairy goats. Care and attention should be given to prevent over filling of the udder or mastitis. Wethers make fantastic pets and our recommendation to pet buyers will be to obtain wethers instead of attempting to breed our females for non-dairy purposes.

Goats are pack animals. We will not knowingly sell a single goat to a home if there are not other goats already there. We encourage buyers to buy animals in pairs to make the transition into a new herd easier so we have discounted prices for wether companions.

TERMS OF SALE

We price our animals based on the merits of their parents and their current market value. We do not have a set price for breeding animals and reserve the right to adjust our prices until a deposit is received. We reserve the right to retain any offspring from any pairing born on our farm. Once an animal is available for purchase we will contact people in order of waitlist request. 50% deposit is required to hold your reservation for any animal once available. If something should happen to your animal before they leave our farm we will transfer your deposit to another animal on a case by case basis. So please consider picking up your animal in a timely manner once they have been listed as available. The remainder will be due upon pick up from our farm. We require farm pick ups only.
